FINALE: Broadband Initiative

The VATI Broadband Finale will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on October 22nd at the Franklin Regional Airport.

The program, which created broadband access for over 12,000 addresses in Southampton County, Isle of Wight County and the City of Suffolk, is one of the major success stories of the statewide broadband access initiative. Don Scott, the Virginia Speaker of the House, will be the keynote speaker for the event. Invitations for the Broadband Finale will be issued shortly.

FSEDI administered the Southampton portion of the program, which created just over 5,000 new passings for broadband.
