Welcome to Our New Franklin Business Center On-Site Mentor… Jesse Hellyer!
Jesse K. Hellyer began his career as a New York Life agent in 1993 after being a schoolteacher and coach at Tidewater Academy in Wakefield. In 1995, Jesse was promoted by New York Life to become a Sales Manager in the Richmond General Office. As a Sales Manager, Jesse was responsible for recruiting and training new agents for the local office.
After five years in management, Jesse returned to sales as a Financial Services Professional and has been a producer ever since. His primary office is in Waverly, where he lives with his wife of 37 years, Loretta. They have two grown children and four grandchildren.
Seven years ago, Jesse opened a satellite office in the Franklin Business Center to help better serve his clients in the Franklin-Southampton area.
Jesse works with individuals and small businesses (although there is no such thing as small) in all aspects of preparing for tomorrow. He focuses on protecting, growing, and distributing assets using insurance and other financial products.
Jesse is a 1985 graduate of Randolph-Macon College with a BA in Psychology. While at R-MC, he was a 4-year starter on the Basketball team. He was a second All-American as a Junior and Senior and is a member of the Athletic Hall-of-Fame.
Jesse looks forward to mentoring new businesses as they start on their exciting journey.
