Deploy Computer Solutions, a division of Hicks Family Group LLC, was established to address a critical gap in the local market for reliable, affordable computer repair and network installation services, with a particular focus on the underserved rural communities of Franklin and Southampton County, VA. Coming to us from the small unincorporated community of Sedley, Lakita Hicks, IT consultant and founder of DCS, is not only aware of the need for services, but also of the need for community education for those who feel left behind in this ever-changing technical world we live in.

Ms. Hicks has earned an ITIL 4 Certification, a globally recognized standard for IT service management, and is pursuing a dual degree of Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and a Master of Science in IT Management at Western Governors University (WGU), as well as other certification programs to strengthen her IT knowledge, stay abreast of the latest technological advancements, and at the forefront of the rapidly evolving IT landscape. She also has ten years of extensive experience in the computer industry as a former Navy Information System Technician and field computer technician. Her veteran-owned and SWaM certified business signed on at the Franklin Business Center on June 1, 2025, and is ready to provide service and cutting-edge solutions for her clients.
