Beginning in June, the Franklin Business Center will serve as a Fieldprint location, supporting individuals and businesses who require fingerprinting under Virginia law. Fieldprint is the nation’s largest Livescan fingerprinting network. This partnership brings convenient, secure, and state-of-the-art electronic fingerprinting right to Franklin Southampton.

Fieldprint operates more than 1,900 Livescan locations nationwide, offering an easy and reliable way to complete fingerprint-based background checks. Now, individuals in Franklin Southampton who are mandated by Virginia law, such as those seeking certain professional licenses or employment, can have their fingerprinting appointments locally, without the need to travel far or wait for limited openings.

How Does It Work?

On the day of your appointment, bring two forms of identification, including at least one government-issued photo ID. Your fingerprints will be scanned electronically and submitted directly to the appropriate state agency, ensuring fast and accurate results.
