FSEDI Visits National Harbor for SelectUSA Investment Summit

Our President & CEO, Karl Heck, (pictured below) traveled to the SelectUSA Investment Summit in National Harbor, Maryland as part of the 10-person Hampton Roads Alliance delegation to America’s largest economic development conference dedicated to foreign direct investment. There, he met with vendors and businesses from across the nation and abroad interested in investing and creating employment in our area.

SelectUSA is the U.S. government program, led by the U.S. Department of Commerce, that focuses on facilitating job-creating business investment in the United States and raising awareness of the critical role of economic development in the U.S. economy. Since its inception, SelectUSA has facilitated more than $400 billion in investment, supporting over 270,000 U.S. jobs.
