The Wallace Corporation Gains Momentum at the Franklin Business Center

In January 2025, we promised more to come from these two dynamos regarding their new business venture, The Wallace Corporation!
After retiring from a successful career in child development and teaching, Katherine Wallace recognized an opportunity to begin this business after watching her husband Laurence Wallace navigate through the utilities industry for many years during their marriage. It was important to her to be by his side as he took those next steps to embrace the next level in his already extensive career. For 24 years, Laurence Wallace had dedicated his work life to the water and utilities industry in and around the Hampton Roads area. He served in many positions for several contracting firms, but most recently held the position of Vice President of M.T. Carter Contracting in Chesapeake, VA, and Project Manager for Bridgeman Civil in Suffolk, Virginia.
Laurence shared that he stumbled into this industry as a young man and immediately fell in love with everything about it, which explains why he has dedicated so many years of his life to it and is now taking this next leap with his beautiful wife, Katherine. After careful thought, consideration, and planning by Katherine and Laurence…The Wallace Corporation – Utility Constructors & Consultants was born.
The Wallace Corporation is a Class A Licensed Underground Utilities Contractor with the solid foundation and industry connections to help shape and supply the utility industry with the level of honesty, integrity, professionalism, and quality that it deserves.
