As you may have heard, the Franklin Business Center is now a Fieldprint Livescan service location offering a full suite of remote services, including fingerprinting, Form I-9 completion, and badge photography. Since going live on June 2nd and through October 31st, we have successfully served 281 clients with private, secure services…most of these being new hires or renewed positions for local or state law enforcement, banks, schools/daycare centers, or other agencies that require this type of employment-related background screening.
Employers or individuals who require fingerprinting can electronically schedule an appointment at FieldPrintVirginia.com, then choose the Franklin location or any other Livescan site that is convenient. The Franklin location is equipped with a Livescan fingerprinting workstation that is also photo-enabled and meets the latest Clearinghouse requirements.
The Franklin Southampton Economic Development, Inc. (FSEDI) staff have undergone extensive background checks, have received technical training, and can professionally complete your fingerprint collection or any other services that are pre-arranged at the time the appointment is booked. Fingerprints and supporting document scans are routed directly to the state via a secure electronic channel, ensuring your information is transmitted quickly and safely. The whole process takes less than ten minutes!
